My mom spent her life saving her adventures for "someday." Someday, probably when she retired. She was sadly diagnosed with leukemia and died young, a year before her planned retirement. We started our monthly mail club, The Someday Society, in honor of her memory and to carry her dreams forward.
What it is
Every month, a real envelope arrives from a different corner of the world. Inside:
- A newsletter, dispatched from that month's destination, with a comic strip starring Gus the fork, a language lesson, and the story behind the recipe. We also answer questions in the Dear Someday Society column.
- A recipe card for a dish from that region
- A postcard with original art by Estella.
- A passport stamp sticker. Your first envelope includes a passport booklet, and you fill it one stamp at a time.
Who it's for
Anyone who loves food, travel, or a good piece of mail. Solo cooks, couples, roommates, whole families around the table. Anyone who is ready to trade some screen time for something they can actually hold.
The mail club also makes a perfect gift!
How it works
Subscribe monthly, or buy a single month to try one. Subscribe by the 30th to get the following month's mail.
Whatever your someday is, a trip, a recipe, a phone call you keep putting off, we hope the envelope nudges you toward it.
